Terms & Conditions

To ensure your appointment goes as smoothly as possible, outlined our clinic policies for your convenience. Please take a moment to review them so you know what to expect during your visit.

Terms & Conditions

Please be aware by making an appointment you acknowledge that you understand and agree to these terms and conditions. Lavish Cosmetics LTD reserves the right to cancel, delay, shorten or change treatments where reasonably necessary because of the details below.

 

Booking Appointments
Lavish Cosmetics LTD is a busy clinic and so to avoid disappointment we ask that you book your treatments as soon as you are able. Re-booking at each appointment, and especially at busy times of the year in encourages. Appointments can be booked by calling or emailing us. We will send you an email to confirm your booking at the time it is made. Please check your appointment details and let us know as soon as possible if anything is incorrect. (We recommend that you check your spam folder)
An appointment reminder will be sent out by text message and/or email 24 hours before your appointment, so you can change, confirm or cancel by telephoning us immediately. If you cannot make your appointment for any reason, please inform us straight away. This enables us to allocate your appointment time to someone else.


Non-Refundable Booking Fee/ Deposit
When you book an appointment, we ask for a 50% booking deposit. This deposit will be used as part payment towards your treatment and is fully refundable should you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment.
We require a 50% non refundable booking fee to secure any treatment booked and for any treatment booked over the phone or in person.


Arrival Time
Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. We kindly as that you prepared to wait until your booked appointment time.


Late Arrivals
If you are running late for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. We will always do our best to accommodate late arrivals within 10 minutes of your appointment time by performing the most complete treatment possible in the time remaining at the full price. In the case of some treatments however late arrival may mean that we unable to honour your booking. Unfortunately, arriving 10 minutes after the scheduled time of your appointment will result in your treatment being cancelled and full charges being made. No more appointment will be booked until paid.

 

We recommend that you plan for your visit to Lavish Cosmetics LTD and are happy to answer questions about how to get to us. There is ample free, off-street parking outside the clinic. You park within the carpark or on street parking at your own risk, and Lavish Cosmetics LTD will not be responsible for any penalty that you may incur

 

Cancellations and “No shows”
If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Since we turn away other clients to hold your booking, any cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in treatment fee charges up to and including 100% and no other bookings will be made until paid.

Refund Policy – Products
We cannot give refunds on any products sold due to health and safety and hygiene reasons. If there is a fault with a product, we can send it back to the manufacturer for review.

 

Refund Policy – Services (Treatments)
Our treatments are carried out by a qualified practitioner. If you are unsatisfied with a treatment you have received, please bring it to the attention of your practitioner and follow our complaints procedure as detailed below. We do not give refunds on any treatments however we will investigate your concerns immediately and try to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
 

Cleanliness
In keeping with our commitment to cleanliness, safety and hygiene, our equipment is cleaned and sanitised and disinfected or sterilised after every service and treatment.

 

Loss or Damage of Personal Items

Please always keep your personal belongings with you and leave any valuables at home.
 

Clinic Etiquette
Aggressive or abusive behaviour includes any language (verbal or written), threats, derogatory remarks or rudeness which may cause staff to feel afraid, threatened or abused will not be tolerated. We also consider inflammatory statements, remarks of a discriminatory nature and unsubstantiated allegations to be abusive behaviour.
Where a client is aggressive or abusive we reserve the right to refuse to continue with the service and/or refuse to provide treatment to the client in the future.
We reserve the right to report any aggressive or abusive behaviour to the police if deemed necessary.
 

Complaints Procedure
We aim to ensure that every client is delighted with the services that they receive at Lavish Cosmetics LTD. However, we recognise that on occasions things can go wrong. If this does happen, we will try to put things right at the earliest opportunity.
This procedure advises how to bring matters to our attention if you are not happy with the service you have received.

We will ensure that all complaints are documented, followed up and where appropriate, action is taken to prevent future occurrences.
The quickest and most effective way of resolving any problem is to bring it to our attention immediately by raising your concern with the practitioner.
They will listen carefully to your concerns and do what they can to correct any problems.
Complaints need to be documented in writing via email to Enquiries@lavish-cosmetics.co.uk . Please provide as much detail as possible, including details of your treatment, date and time of your appointment and your exact concerns.
Your complaint will be assessed by the management team. We aim to get back to you within 5 working days (Excluding weekends and bank holidays) of receiving your complaint in writing.

No Children Policy
Children under the age of 16 years are NOT permitted in the clinic We cannot accommodate more than one person in the clinic room at one time and are unable to offer a waiting room area at this time.

 

Client Questionnaire and Health Conditions
All new clients will be requested to complete a Medical Questionnaire before our practitioner can perform any treatments on you. We are unable to complete any treatments until this form has been completed and reviewed by a practitioner.
Please advise us of any medications, health conditions, allergies, or injuries which could affect your treatment when completing this form. It is your responsibility to let us know of any changes in your circumstances before your treatment goes ahead.
We reserve the right to ask you questions relevant to each treatment at each visit and you will be required to fill out a Medical Questionnaire upon visiting the clinic each time.
 

Client Age Restrictions
There are several treatments which have a minimum age requirement. Please contact the clinic for age related information for specific treatments.
We reserve the right to refuse performing treatments on any guest who is under the age of consent.
We reserve the right to request a copy of your ID so we can verify your age for any treatments. We have a strict clinic policy that we do not conduct any treatments if you look under the age of 18 and are unable to provide ID to support your age

Special Circumstances
Pregnant woman can receive certain treatments throughout pregnancy. There are however some treatments that cannot be offered to those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Please contact the salon for details on specific treatments.
We will not perform any treatment if there is any morning sickness, decrease in foetal movement over a 24-hour period, vaginal bleeding or if the client is on bed rest.
There are several treatments which cannot be performed due to allergies, health conditions or medications. Please contact the clinic for details on specific treatments.

 

Practitioner illness
Unfortunately, there may be times when we have to cancel your appointment due to practitioner /staff illness or another emergency. If we are unable to reschedule your appointment at another time or with an alternative practitioner on the same day we will need to cancel your appointment and rebook you for the next available appointment. We will notify you as soon as possible if we need to cancel your appointment.


Treatment Prices
While we do all we can to keep our website and price lists updated, treatments and prices are subject to change without warning.


Gift Vouchers
These terms and conditions apply to your purchase of all Gift Vouchers, and form part of your agreement with Lavish Cosmetics LTD
Vouchers can be used as part or full payment for treatments or products (There may be some exclusions, please speak to the bookings team, at the time of booking your appointment)
Any remaining balance on your voucher will be reissued to you and the original expiry date will remain.
We reserve the right not to accept vouchers that have or appear to have been forged, damaged, defaced or otherwise tampered with. Appointments are subject to availability.
If an intended purchase is for a higher amount than the face value of a voucher, the difference can be made up with a card payment. If it is less, then change cannot be given.
The voucher recipient cannot request a cash refund for the gift voucher at any time.
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or other denominated vouchers.
Vouchers cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.
Vouchers expire 6 months after date of purchase and the remaining balance will be deducted.

 

Lavish Cosmetics LTD reserves the right to add to or amend these terms and conditions from time to time, where we consider it reasonable and necessary to do so for security, regulatory or other legal reasons. Reasonable notice will be given where possible.


No Pets Policy

We cannot accommodate animals in the salon due to health and safety and clinic hygiene.
